Mary began fashion modeling at the age of thirteen and eventually landed a contract with Wilhelmina Models. She was voted “Model of the Year” by Mode Magazine in 2001 and in 2009 she placed as a finalist for the title of Miss New Jersey USA, a part of the Miss USA pageant. Fueled by her experiences in the modeling industry, Mary assisted in developing and starred in acclaimed documentary Confident For Life a television program for The Disney Channel dealing with the issue of body image.

 

As a fashion model, Mary has worked with brands such as Diet Coke, Febreeze, Nexxus, Men’s Health, Clairol, QVC, HSN, and Zulily.  She has appeared in numerous publications including Maxim Magazine, The New York Post, The New York Times, Elle and Real Simple.  Her television and film credits include The Runner (2015), acting with Nicholas Cage, Infinitely Polar Bear (2014) with Mark Ruffalo, Something Borrowed (2011) starring Ginnifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson, Gossip Girl, Project Accessory, Polycarp (Kinky Killers) starring Michael Pare and Charles Durning, The Beautiful Life, Life on the Ledge, Law and Order, 30 Rock, Sex and the City, and modeling appearances on The View, CBS This Morning, GMA, Rachel Ray, The Today Show, VH1, The FUSE, Spike TV as well as acting roles in numerous short films.  Mary also was awarded a Botsker at the prestigious Robot Film Festival in New York City for her finessed performance as the robot popstar in the “Teenage Popstar Girl” music video. She has acted in over a dozen plays in NYC and has performed Off Broadway and at venues such as Carnegie Hall.

 

Mary has appeared on numerous book covers and in dozens of magazines and advertisements.  She was also the Chief Organizer and Co-Chair of the Hoboken Film Festival from 2008-9.

 

Mary received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting/Directing from NYU‘s Tisch School of the Arts, She also studied acting at HB Studio as well as with master teacher Fred Kareman, and at The Stella Adler Conservatory.

 

Mary remains passionate about fitness and exercise, and continues to speak about body Image. She is a vegetarian, enjoys cooking healthy foods and is an avid animal lover, Mary resides in New York City.
